 FireStar General Rules
FireStar General Rules

No member of FireStar will engage in the following actions:

1. Piracy: Defined as ransoming/destroying the ship/pod of another player in order to obtain what goods they may be carrying, just for the fun of it, or because you can. In the event that a member is subject to an unprovoked attack they are free to return fire on that individual at their own discretion.

2. Gate camping: Defined as camping gates in "secure" space to kill (unprovoked) unsuspecting or innocent players in the EvE universe with the intent to gain ISK, items, equipment or ships from said players. Gate camping to blockade or catch enemy ships is not an act of piracy. Enemy players are defined as any player who by virtue of game mechanics or official declaration are currently in a state of war with FireStar.

3. Ore Thieving/Ganking: Defined as using the security status of a star system in conjunction with game mechanics to obtain ore you did not mine yourself by using a ship to transfer ores from a jettisoned can of another player into your cargo hold. Or further defined as transferring the ore of a jettisoned can to one of your own in order to destroy said can and deny the rightful owner their ore.

4. Loot Thieving: Defined as collecting items and modules from the loot cans of killed NPC’s/players killed by another player of EvE where said player is still in the vicinity. Collection of abandoned loot cans is permitted.

5. Scamming: Defined as using game mechanics i.e. Escrow/Trade Windows/Courier Missions etc to trick/fool another player in the EvE community into purchasing an item for more than it is reasonably worth or falsely stating what an item is in order to illicit ISK from a player for a product or service that will not be provided upon payment.

6. Forums: All members are free (and encouraged) to post on any forum they wish concerning any subject they wish in a personal capacity as long as they do not compromise the operations or security of FireStar. Only the CEO/Directors of FireStar may post on public forums on any issues of Corp operation or policy. However, disrespect or personal attacks directed at other EVE players or Corporations (smack talking) is totally unacceptable and will be dealt with severely.

7. Killmails: All mails both kills and losses must be posted on the killboard and also on any alliance killboard.

8. TS & Chat Channels: All members should be on teamspeak during there time in 0.0 and also during ops. Please also remember that you are part of a Group of players and your actions reflect on the whole Corporation. Anything said in a public channel could be interpreted by someone outside FireStar as being the opinion/position of the entire Corp, so please bear this in mind.

  • Members will refrain from smack/trash talking in Local or Public Channels in all circumstances. You are free to respond to posts in these channels, however personal “verbal” attacks on other players in the EVE universe are not permitted. If such an act is relayed to the CEO, action may be taken. In the event that another player smack talks you, a copy of the chatlog should be forwarded to the CEO and Management will consider what action should be taken.

  •
  • For reasons of operational security, Corp members are requested to refrain from discussing Corp plans, operations and policy in any public channels.

  •
  • During Combat operations, members are not to respond to posts/taunts from the enemy in Local or Public chat channels. This means if there are REDS in system during operations do not post anything in Local chat unless it is to acknowledge a good fight!

  •
  • We want to maintain good relations with our friends/allies. Members are actively encouraged to exchange greetings with ‘friendlies’ in Local.

  • Corp Share

For FireStar to continue to support it’s members and grow the Corp requests a share of it’s members activities. We operate on a trust policy so it is the responsibility of the individual member to make sure that they make the appropriate Corp share.

    1. 10% of all raw ore mined (calculated by units of each individual ore type) to be donated to the Corp. This is to be done by the member prior to their ore being refined and should be placed in the Corp Ore hangar. If a member is conducting regular mining operations in a system where FireStar has no office, please advise the Director of Mining Operations so that arrangements can be made.

    2. 10% of Agent mission rewards (excluding any time bonus award) to be donated to the Corp by autotax gamesystem.

    3. 10% of bounties from NPC kills to be donated to the Corp by autotax gamesystem.

    Benefits

    1. Full access to Shared Hangar and all items/modules in it.

    2. Free ammo/missiles (if zydrine/megacyte is required for the build the member may be asked to supply this)

    3. Corp provides frigates, Industrials and most Cruisers (Tech 1) free of charge to members (subject to availability).

    4. Subject to availability, members are able to borrow other Corp ships such as mining cruisers/barges and Industrials if needed.

    5. Corp Building – the Corp has several members with perfect build skills who can build ships/modules on request from members, needing the members to supply less minerals and so reducing the cost of obtaining the item.

    6. The Corp also has an extensive range of BP’s which it uses to build ships/modules for its members.

    7. Corp Refining – Several members of the Corp have ‘Perfect’ refining skills and will refine ore for other members (please see Refining Days for details) giving a much higher mineral yield than could otherwise be obtained.

    8. Participation in the FireStar Ship Insurance programme.

Fun – playing with a Group of friends!!
